Extinction Rebellion London

In April 2019, for almost two weeks thousands of people taking over the streets of central London blocking four locations Oxford Circus, Waterloo bridge, Marble Arch and Parliament Square to get attention for their demands.

Extinction Rebellion is an international movement that uses non-violent civil disobedience to achieve radical change in order to minimise the risk of human extinction and ecological collapse. More than 1,100 people have been arrested and more than 10,000 police officers have been deployed during the action. Organisers described as the biggest civil disobedience event in recent British history.
